World Environment Day 2025

It was fantastic to be able to mark World Environment Day again this year, one of our annual community events.

We had a great group to plant ground and mid story plants to supplement the eucalypts and wattles as part of our Watersmeet project of 'assisted natural regeneration'. This planting we trialled netting tree guards (3 plants per guard) to protect from marauding wombats.

The planting was followed by a delicious morning tea at Pa’s Hut.
